PASSADUMKEAG -- A buzz of anticipation and a touch of chaos dominated the tenor of the April 2 meeting of the Passadumkeag Selectboard -- the first board meeting held after the March 30 annual town meeting. Lamson indicted on additional theft charge related to alleged mishandling of funeral service
BANGOR—The disgraced former owner and operator of funeral homes in the Katahdin and Lincoln Lakes Regions was indicted last week on another felony theft charge related to alleged mishandling of a funeral service. Harold “Chip” Lamson, 55, who was listed as residing in East Millinocket, was indicted by Penobscot County grand jury on a single charge of theft by unauthorized taking.
